Funeral services for Mr. Wilma (Bill Goat) F. McTier will be held Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 3pm at Rachel Missionary Baptist Church in Baxley, Georgia. Internment will be take place on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 3pm at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glenville, Georgia.

Visitation will held on Saturday, September 28, 2015 at 6-8pm at Baxley Funeral Home.

Wilma (Bill Goat) F. McTier was born in Baxley, Georgia on August 4, 1946 to the late Mrs. Bernice Byrd. He was lovingly raised by the late C.H. and Drucilla McTier.

He received his education at Appling County Consolidated School. After graduation Wilma joined the United States Army where he served his country from January 6, 1966 until Jan 5, 1972. He was a lifelong member of Rachel Missionary Baptist church where he served as chairman of the Trustee Board.

Wilma made his transition beyond the grave on Thursday, shortly before the noon day hour on September, 24, 2015.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories 3 children; Carla (Derrick), Charles, and Carolyn; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grands; A Special Friend, Mrs. Almaree Miller; Eight sisters; Vivian, Jean Etta, Maudell, Olivett,, Patrice, Ruby, Mittie, and Veronica Eight Brothers; Herbert, Vernon, Kenny, Stanford, Alvin, Randall, Sr., Bishop Willie Cook and Bishop Alfred Cook; 2 Aunts; Francis Vann and Lurena Smith and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and other relatives and sorrowing friends.
