Mr. Moses “Mo Dog” Snell was born on February 22, 1955 in Alma, Georgia to Geneva Hoggins and the late Bishop Felton Snell. He later moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and then to Baxley, Georgia. While in Baxley he met and was united in Holy Matrimony to Daricile Williams Snell on November 24, 2011.

Moses became a member of St. Paul Church of God in Christ in Surrency, Georgia, under the leadership of Superintendent James F.
Carter. He was a faithful and dedicated employee at Wright’s Car Wash until his death. Moses enjoyed to watch drag racing and build rat rods. He was very friendly and never met a stranger.

On December 8, 2017 Moses transitioned to his Heavenly home. He was preceded in death his father and brother, Charles Snell. He leaves to cherish his life memories to his devoted wife: Daricile Snell of Baxley, GA; loving mother: Geneva Hoggins of Alma, GA; children: Maria Snell, Moses (Erin) Snell, Jr., Latoya Snell, Dantonio (Marrita) Frazier, and Cherelle Jones, all of Florida; stepdaughters: Chiffon Lee and Twan Lee, both of Baxley, GA; sisters: Elect Lady Jeanne (Bishop Alford) Ferguson, Pastor Debra (Co-pastor Leon) Davis, Floretta (Marty) Snell, Cheryl Brand, all of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Renee (Tony) Wright and Akino (Rose) Brown, both of Alma, GA; grandchildren: Moses Snell, III, Malcom Snell, Malik Snell, Jimi Snell, Julian Jones, Danasiah Frazier, Zariya Frazier, Jakelya Kendrick, Markeitzia Lomack, Dantonio Frazier, Jr., and Arnise Frazier; stepgrandchildren: Devan Lee and Sharna Dasher; brothers-in-law: Paul (Vickie) Williams of Savannah, GA and Harvey (Annette) Williams of Baxley, GA; sisters-in-law: Eunice (Bryant) Nathan of Baxley, GA and Inetta Jackson of Atlanta, GA. He also leaves fond memories with numerous other relatives and friends.
