Baxley Funeral Home announces the death and funeral service of Mr. Laurie Byrd, Jr. of Baxley who departed this life on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Bacon County Hospital in Alma, Georgia.
Funeral services for Mr. Byrd will be held Saturday, November 5th at 1:00pm at First Assembly Church of God located at 3397 Hatch Parkway North in Baxley. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service.
Internment will be at Eason Cemetery located at 1819 Eden Road in Cobbtown, Georgia.
Repast will take place in the church social hall.
The family will receive friends at 479 Jones Street in Baxley.
