Baxley Funeral Home announces the passing of First Lady Joyce Carter of Baxley, Georgia who departed this life on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee Florida.

A walk through visitation honoring First Lady Carter will be held Friday, January 8th from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Saint Paul Church of God in Christ located at 639 Ga Hwy 121 SE in Surrency, Georgia.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 9th at 11:00am at Saint Paul Church of God In Christ Cemetery located off Barfield Road Surrency, Georgia. The funeral procession will lineup at Saint Paul Church of God in Christ at 10:30 am before the service.

Strict social distancing measures will be in effect. Masks are required as well as maintaining a distance of six feet between visitors. For the safety of all family and friends, there will be no repast due to the surge of COVID-19 in our area.
