Felicia Clemons, known to her immediate family as Flete, is celebrated this day - March 2, 2024. She was the tower of strength for the family, a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, a great provider, a friend to others, and a guiding light to many.
Her life journey began in Waycross, Georgia - March 24, 1977 into the union of the late Bishop John & Pastor Billie Jackson. She was the second of four children. She attended school at Appling County High School where she obtained her diploma in 1995 in Baxley, Georgia. She was united in marriage to Christopher Clemons on November 2, 2012. She was a Georgia State correctional officer as well as a nurturing nurse providing twenty plus years of service.
Her passion and enjoyment was cooking and feeding others, playing the drums and singing, and uplifting others and making them smile and laugh. She was a farmer and her hobbies were tending to her dogs, chickens, horses, and her pig named Eleanor.
She leaves to cherish and reflect upon her heartfelt memories: the love of her life, a devoted husband of eleven years Mr. Christopher L. Clemons, five children: Michael T. Byrd Jr. (Alexandria); Ashlee M. Byrd; Fabian T. Byrd; Curtis P. Worthing; Curtis A. Worthing; her mother Pastor Billie L. Jackson, four sisters: Pam D. Chapman (Gregory); Felicia Watts; Wendy T. Underwood (Patrick Sr.); and Peggy C. Burton (Dennis). Her pride and joy, four grandchildren Michael Byrd III; Adaleia Byrd; John Byrd; and Graceleigh Byrd, mother and father in-law, Pearlie and Joanne Paulk, sister and brothers-in-law. Many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
