Dorothy N. Davis Obituary
Dorothy N. Davis, 77, of Jesup, GA died May 9, 2016, at Wayne Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. The Appling County native had lived in Jesup for the past several years and was a member of Mt. Mariah AME Church. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. W.F. Davis of Jesup; three daughters and a son-in-law, June Alsobrook of Atlanta, Marsha Roberts of Atlanta and Karen and Horace Fuller of Jesup; sons Hercules Williams of Atlanta and Melvin Williams of Lilburn; a sister and brother-in-law, Tommie and Randy Jones of Baxley; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Mt. Mariah AME Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon at Mizpah Baptist Church, 3553 Piney Bluff Road, Baxley.
