Baxley Funeral Home announces the passing of 76 year old Mrs. Dessie Carson Gillis of Macon, Georgia who departed this life on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Piedmont Macon Medical Center.

Graveside services for Mrs. Gillis will be held on Friday, October 29th at 11:00 am at Popular Spring Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery located 422 Cedar Crossing Road in Vidalia, Georgia. Viewing will be available beginning at 10am until the graveside services begin.

Strict social distancing measures will be in effect, masks are required as well as maintaining a distance of six feet between visitors.
