Baxley Funeral Home announces the death and celebration of life services for Mother Carrie Lee Mathis Ivey age 84, who departed this life on Saturday, March 01, 2025 at Jeff Davis Hospital in Hazlehurst, Georgia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Saint John COGIC located at 401 North Phillips Street in Baxley, Georgia.
Celebration of life services for Mother Ivey will be held on Friday, March 7th at 11:00 am at Bennett Union Baptist Church located at 404 West Pine Street Jesup, Georgia.
Burial will follow at the Jesup City Cemetery in Jesup, Georgia.
The repast will be held in Bennett Union Baptist Church Social Hall.
